Employee Spotlight: Jerri Molacinai

This month we would like to take the time to recognize Jerri Molacinai, Project Supervisor in Texas. Jerri joined SQ with over 12 years of experience in quality management, she’s built a robust foundation in ensuring product excellence and optimizing processes. Relocating from Tennessee to Texas in 2020, Jerri eagerly embraced new opportunities and experiences.

For Jerri, family is a strong motivation and inspiration behind her greatness. Married blissfully for four years, Jerri and her husband are blessed with two delightful sons, Bentley, 12, and Josiah, 8, whose antics fill their weekends with boundless joy and adventure. Their household is further enriched by the presence of Odin, their beloved chocolate lab, whose infectious energy adds a unique charm to their family dynamic.

Jerri finds solace in reading and enjoys exploring new activities with her loved ones. Whether it’s a spontaneous day trip to a nearby park or experimenting with a new recipe together, Jerri treasures every moment spent creating memories with her family.

Drawing from her extensive experience, Jerri understands the pivotal role of a collaborative and supportive work environment in fostering individual and team success. She strives to cultivate an atmosphere where team members feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their diverse skills and perspectives. Open communication serves as the cornerstone of her approach, fostering trust and transparency within the team, which are indispensable for effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Having spent six fruitful years with Nissan’s Quality Department in Tennessee and later joining Cubic Corporation after a hiatus, Jerri’s journey led her to discover the Project Supervisor position with SQ through a job posting on Indeed. Intrigued by SQ’s esteemed reputation, after thorough research Jerri felt compelled to apply.

Jerri’s top advice for any new Quality Inspector joining the SQ team? Prioritize communication, collaboration, and continuous learning. By embracing these principles, new Quality Inspectors not only excel in their roles but also play a pivotal part in upholding and elevating quality standards across the organization.

If Jerri wielded a magic wand, she would address the pressing global issue of universal access to healthcare. Recognizing healthcare as a fundamental human right, Jerri is deeply concerned about the millions worldwide who are deprived of essential medical services due to various barriers. She advocates for breaking down financial, geographical, and systemic barriers to ensure equitable healthcare access for all.

Jerri Molacinai’s dedication to quality, her commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment, and her passion for making a difference beyond the workplace serve as an inspiration to us all. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Jerri and look forward to continued success together at SQ.

Pets of the Month

We would love to see your pet, send in a picture and description to sqnewsletter@stratospherequality.com

Patina

Meet 3-month-old Patina, a Cinnamon Velveteen Dumbo Rat. Patina is a friendly girl that loves her pets and is easy to handle. She is very sweet, and loves being picked up for cuddles. Her favorite treats at the moment are almonds and she loves to play and cuddle with her sister. Patina's mesmerizing cinnamon hue, blending shades of fawn and agouti, captivates all who behold it. It's interesting to note that in the wild, rats typically only display agouti and black coloring. Therefore, encountering a rat with a different hue suggests it may have been domesticated and released. Bright colors, while attractive to us, can make these rats vulnerable to predators, hence their rarity in natural habitats. Rats can make great pets for both kids and adults and are even sometimes chosen by teachers as classroom pets. If you are interested in having a pet rat or learning more about them, pet parent Rachel can be found on Facebook under Rem’s Rattery, or you can visit remsratteryadoptables.com.
