Have You Heard?

We’ve made some positive changes to holiday pay! Here’s the scoop:

Employees can qualify for holiday pay after 30 days of employment (previously this was 90 days).
Hours worked the previous 4 weeks will be used to determine holiday pay (previously this was 12 weeks)
Restrictions surrounding no call-offs before and after holidays have been lifted.

The new policy allows employees to be eligible for holiday pay more easily than before. This change was made effective May 2022.

Junior & Bruce

Junior is a 14-year-old mutt. He is the sweetest dog who spends all of his time begging for rubs and food in that order. He would lay outside in the sun all day if you would let him. Bruce (Yes he’s named after the Hulk) is a 5-year-old Chiweenie. His mission every day is to pester Junior every minute he’s awake. When he’s not pestering Junior you will find him in bed underneath the covers sleeping away the day. Pet parent: Stacey Barr, Recruiting Analyst

Walter & Oliver

This is Walter (black and white) he is the dad, sitting with his boy Oliver. Oliver was born blind and I was not going to be able to take care of him. He needed bottle-fed several times a day and it was hard to navigate. I had taken him to the nursing home where I used to work and the residents loved him, fed him, and wanted to keep him, they even offered to build him a pen to keep him there as the resident goat. With months of work and vet visits Oliver began to get his sight back, he is probably about at 80 percent. He still gets around pretty well. I did have a sanctuary that I was going to send him to, but the residents at the nursing home would not have it. So, I had no choice but to keep him. He does great now and is such a sweet boy. We love him and all his other goat friends and family very much, (we are currently at 28 total goats) with all different personalities. Pet Parent: Susan Self, Field Recruiter
